Emergency Aid for Israel – “Roaring Lion” Campaign
During Israel’s “Roaring Lion” Campaign, the Executive Committee of the B’nai B’rith Alliance issued a call for action, encouraging donations in support of Israeli society during a challenging period. A number of Lodges responded promptly and generously, transferring significant contributions directly to the account of B’nai B’rith Israel, which coordinated the distribution of the aid. This initiative demonstrated again the strong sense of solidarity and mutual responsibility within the B’nai B’rith family worldwide.

Cooperation Agreement between the BBA and B’nai B’rith Israel
In February 2026, the B’nai B’rith Alliance signed a strategic cooperation agreement with B’nai B’rith Israel. The agreement reflects a strong commitment to Jewish solidarity and aims to deepen the relationship between B’nai B’rith members in Israel and across Europe. Its implementation includes a range of joint projects focused on supporting vulnerable communities, assisting new immigrants, and helping lone soldiers, among other initiatives. Plans are also underway for volunteer programs in Israel, preparatory programs for young people interested in serving in the IDF, and the twinning of Lodges in Israel with Lodges throughout Europe in order to foster lasting personal and communal connections.
The Sefarad Project
The Sefarad Project seeks to document and present the rich Sephardic heritage across Europe. The initiative combines academic research with Lodge-based “living archives,” drawing on the personal histories, traditions, and memories preserved by Lodge members from countries with Sephardic heritage and cultural affinity. The collected materials and findings are expected to be presented at an international conference planned for Autumn 2026.

BBA Talks
Beginning in June 2026, the B’nai B’rith Alliance will launch a series of international online talks designed to encourage the exchange of ideas, initiatives, and experiences among members and Lodges. The series will also feature distinguished experts addressing relevant and thought-provoking topics of Jewish, cultural, social, and international interest. The initiative combines academic research with Lodge-based “living archives,” drawing on the personal histories, traditions, and memories preserved by Lodge members from countries with Sephardic heritage and cultural affinity. The B.B. Passport
The B’nai B’rith Alliance actively supports and promotes the “B.B. Passport,” an initiative introduced by International President Rob Spitzer. By appointing contact persons (“Ambassadors”) within countries and Lodges, the project aims to facilitate meaningful connections among B’nai B’rith members around the world, provide support and assistance during mutual visits, and strengthen the sense of belonging within the international B’nai B’rith community.
